WHAT: Outdoor Channel will be available to DISH customers as part of a month-long free preview beginning Thursday, September 4th. Throughout September, DISH customers can tune in to Channel 396 to experience the outdoor lifestyle network’s entire range of heart-pounding and action-packed adventures that take place in some of the most picturesque locations across the country and around the globe. • “Jim Shockey’s UNCHARTED ” takes viewers to remote and dangerous destinations around the globe with avid outdoorsman Jim Shockey.
• “Bottom Feeders” follows the epic lives and struggles of teams of commercial fisherman as they battle Mother Nature, and each other, to bring in “the big haul” and put food on the family table.
• “Wardens Presented by Streamlight” offers an inside look at the men and women on the front lines of America’s conservation efforts.
• Sneak peak: “Reluctant Outdoorsman” will premiere on Outdoor Channel in January 2015. The all-new reality series follows the journey of Derek, a middle-aged couch potato with no experience in the outdoors, as he is challenged by friends and colleagues to take on life- changing outdoor adventures.
