Damaged Pipe Removed From Spill Site
In Kalamazoo Michigan government officials and Enbridge representatives are still operating in emergency response mode as the clean up of the river bank and approximately 100 ft of the damaged pipe is removed of the site of the leak.
As operations move from "crisis to clean up" residents understand that things are along way from being back to normal.
There are still complaints about the smell and a class action law suit has been filed against Enbridge for damages despite their promises to buy property and pay all legitimate claims.
Enbridge began removing the damaged pipe and after a preliminary examination it will be sent to Washington for further examination.
