Cutting Braided Line with CeramiX Universal Cutting Tool

Braided line was introduced years ago and is now more popular than ever before in some situations because of its high knot strength, lack of stretch, and power in relation to its diameter. Being originally made from natural fibers such as cotton and linen, the materials for braid have been replaced by woven fibers of man-made materials such as Dacron, Spectra or micro-dyneema braided into a strand of super- line. Braided line has a good resistance to abrasion and a breaking strength that often exceeds the pound-test rating. One drawback of braided lines is that is difficult to cut when needed. One tip that is often over looked is having the right tool for the job.

Logic Lures, the makers of innovative and quality tackle for both salt water and fresh water, have faced the challenge of quickly and efficiently cutting braided line. They recently introduced their new ceramic bladed scissors they call CeramiX. The short blade design of these line cutters make them compact and useful. They are rust proof, durable, stay sharp, and best of all they are completely safe for young anglers.

Every angler needs a quality pair of cutters for braided, monofilament and fluorocarbon line too. Each pair includes a lanyard and matching carabineer. The ceramic blades have rounded tips for safe carrying. With the right tool, your fishing can be more productive and enjoyable. This universal cutting tool is a must have for anglers that use braided line.
