Crappie with Italian Crumb ToppingThis baked crappie recipe dish is a healthy choice for the whole family to enjoy and is ready in 25 to 30 minutes.Ingredients:6 Crappie Fillets2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese1 tablespoon cornmeal½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning1 teaspoon olive oil¼ cup fine dry bread crumbs¼ teaspoon garlic powder1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper1 egg white, lightly beatenDirections:#1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F#2. In a small bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, cornmeal, Italian seasoning, oil, garlic powder and pepper and set aside. Leave the lightly beaten egg white in a separate small bowl.#3. Coat the broiling rack with Pam Olive Oil cooking spray. Place the crappie fillets on the rack. Brush the crappie fillets with the egg white, then spoon the crumb mixture evenly on top of the fillets.#4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes or until the crappie flakes easily when tested with a fork and is opaque all the way through.
