It’s not every day when you yank a 31″ Rainbow Trout out of a river in Alaska. It took 4 flights and 5 days of fishing to grab this one, along with fishing in a secret spot that only my GPS knows. It was a truly unique trout. You normally don’t see them so darkly colored and built like that. That rarity alone is why my catch deserves a Crown.
