Crown Me Lucky

Fishing for cats all day, final stop a flat just off a submerged creek bed. Down to the last minnow , baited up, made a cast, and waited. Finally desided to give it another 5 minutes then leave. About that time reel starts singing and fish is on. Pulling good, thinking nice catfish. Never surfaced till at side of boat. Surprise! 8 lb 4 oz bass. Personal best.
