All manner of critters show up on trail cameras: deer, bear, raccoons, coyotes, cougars — there’s no end of wildlife images captured by the ever increasing outdoor recon network that’s being constructed by outdoorsman across the U.S..
But a ghost?
The Birmingham News is reporting that 26-year-old Zach Davis, a Concecuh County Sheriff’s employee, might have an image of a ghost on his trail camera that was captured this past saturday while he and his father-in-law were observing deer activity on one of their food plots.
The blurry image shows a man looking back at the camera wearing khakis pants and a plaid shirt. According to the report, locals believe the ghost is that of Pot Weaver, who lived on the property until his death in 1984.
Images taken before and after the “ghost image” show nothing other than deer and landscape. There are also no footprints or anything else that would indicate that someone had walked through there. And Davis and his father-in-law were watching the foodplot while the “event” occurred and report seeing nothing.
